Ms. Gina Malloy is the Certified School Social Worker at West Stafford School. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Connecticut. Gina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical & School Social Work. She has worked in the school district for 11 years.
Her background includes working in group homes for adults with special needs, working in homes with families with children who have various needs and diagnoses, and working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Additionally, she was a clinician in an outpatient setting working with children and families, and provided counseling in private practice.
Gina loves to work with young children and she shares that “they warm my heart and make me smile”. Her favorite work is in the school setting. Her practice comes from a strengths-based perspective, supporting young children and their families and teachers. “I am proud of, and dedicated to, helping influence a healthy trajectory for the life outcomes of children”.
In her free time Gina loves to dance, cook, read, especially historical fiction and travel. Spain & Israel are two of her most memorable trips!
