Reading Under the Stars
Students at West Stafford School earned a special "Reading Under the Stars" event in their library classes by surpassing their Reading at Home goal of 500 hours. The students pretended to camp under the stars while listening to the sound of crickets and a crackling "campfire". Of course, reading in the dark with flashlights and finger lights was a highlight for the children! Our Reading at Home program will continue to schedule special experiences throughout the school year to motivate our students to read.
